Shook Construction’s new office design was to provide a work environment that employees could enjoy. Adapting spaces was an important detail for nomadic teammates who needed fluidity and better collaboration opportunity. Décor included large windows for lots of natural light, vision/mission elements sprinkled throughout the office, artwork from local artists, as well as pictures of craftspeople performing their tasks.

levelHEADS supported Donley's Inc. as the design architect for a new 1,200‐car employee parking structure. The structure replaced the Lot 59 parking garage on the University Hospitals, Case Medical Center campus. The garage is designed to assimilate with the contextual relationships between the institution and its residential neighbors.

The VA Medical Center was designed by repurposing existing laundry area space into new administrative offices. The work provided 4,600 SF of new human resource space that includes moderate ceiling heights, access to natural daylight, collaborative work spaces, and shared support areas.

Steven Standley Art Studio
Steven Standley Art Studio

Steven Stanley, owner of Tremont Art Studio, renovated an old warehouse/office building into a new space with two purposes. The art studio gives local artist a place to display is work, as well as provides a living space in the trendy inner-city suburb. The roof of the addition was raised to convert the space into a single car garage, providing a rare amenity in the area where parking is a hot commodity.

Cornerstone Market & Deli contracted levelHEADS to provide architectural services for a new facility after a fire burned down the original building. The new design expanded the building providing a larger footprint for additional retail space. Finishes were chosen to enhance the overall branding, which gives the building a more rustic and fun family-centered feel. The community-oriented facility re-opened its doors in May of 2016.
