University Hospitals expands in Lorain County with new Seidman Cancer Center

The $31 million, two-story UH Seidman Cancer Center stand on two acres of the existing University Hospitals Avon Health Center campus at 2075 Healthway Dr. In addition to the existing 283 parking spaces, 343 additional parking spaces were added for the new cancer center.

"Our intent was to create a brand new, state-of-the-art facility, which will provide the residents of Lorain County and surrounding communities leading-edge cancer care close to home," says Ted Teknos, MD, President and Technical Director of UH Seidman Cancer Center. "In addition to medical, surgical and radiation oncology services, patients have access to a vast array of clinical trials, as well as social work, financial counseling and a myriad of other supportive services."
